What are the requirements to open a new account?

To open an account, a merchant must place a $750.00 minimum opening order. We require a Tax Id. All applications are subject to review and approval by Beatriz Ball, and the local sales rep. We reserve the right to grant accounts at our sole discretion. First time customers are required to pay by credit card until credit is established with our company.  

What is your policy on exclusivity?

Before granting an account to a merchant, all applications are subject to review by Beatriz Ball and the area sales rep. We review proximity to existing accounts, population density, regional sales history, and numerous other factors. We grant exclusivity on a case-by-case basis, and reserve the right to grant or deny accounts at our sole discretion.

What is your shipping process and lead time?

Product is shipped as available exclusively via FedEx. Lead time from our Mexico foundry is approx. 2-4 weeks and 1 week from our US warehouse in Harvey, La. Lead times, however, may be extended during market season. All  orders are shipped at cost of 14.5% of total order. No delivery to PO Boxes permitted.

May I use my own shipping account or carrier?

No orders shipped by any 3rd party shipper; no bill recipient or bill third party transportation charges accepted. 

Beatriz Ball has an exclusive arrangement with FedEx that allows for the importation of United States destination packages. Customs documentation, brokerage, clearance and international surface transportation are included in this program. Your own discounts do not apply. 

Due to these regulatory conditions we are not authorized to allow for bill recipient or bill third party transportation charges.

How may I pay for my order?

Beatriz Ball Collection accepts the following forms of payment: AMEX, VISA, MASTERCARD, CHECKS & WIRE TRANSFER.

We do not accept COD orders.

Checks can be mailed to: Beatriz Ball Collection, Dept AT 952426, Atlanta, GA 31192-2426.

When will my credit card be charged?

If paying by credit card, your card is  charged one week before the order ships.

How do I cancel/change my order?

An order may be cancelled at any time. Any additions to an existing order must be submitted within 5 days of original order date. If beyond 5 days then a new order must be placed.

What is re-order minimum?

$250 minimum re-order for active accounts ordering our aluminum line; $150 minimum re-order for active accounts ordering our melamine line; and $100 for active accounts ordering our glass line.

How do I maintain an active account?

An account must purchase a minimum of $2,000 of product per calendar year to maintain active status. An account that does not meet this minimum is considered inactive. A minimum of $750 must be purchased to re-instate an inactive account. Beatriz Ball mandates MAP pricing. Any account that abuses our policy will immediately become “inactive.” Beatriz Ball does not allow 3rd party re-sellers on eccomerce platforms such as: Amazon, Ebay and Walmart.

 What happens if I have a damaged item(s)?

If any item is not satisfactory we will replace, exchange or refund your original method of payment.  All products must be inspected upon delivery. Any claims relating to product, including damage, order error or changes must be filed with Beatriz Ball within five (5) days of receipt of product. No exceptions.

Shipments lost while in transit must be filed with the carrier. Please notify us immediately of any damage or loss. We do require signatures upon delivery by FedEx to retail locations; however, product drop-shipped to a residential address is at the sole risk of the merchant.

 How do I care for my product? Is it food safe?

All items are food safe. For information on product care for all materials, please see "product care" in the footer.

 Do you have stock items for immediate shipping?Yes we have immediate ship items for melamine, glass and linens in our US warehouse.  We  have a limited supply of our signature metal items, please contact your local sales rep or [email protected] for immediate ship stock levels.

 Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Canadian orders ship at a flat shipping rate of 20% of order total (this is your landed fee from Mexico to Canada including all custom fees, brokerage and GST). Beatriz Ball can ship outside the US and Canada using a retailer's own freight carrier such as DHL.

 Do you accept large quantity orders?

Yes, any orders containing 12 or more pieces of the same item require a 50% upfront deposit.

 Do you drop ship?

Yes, we offer drop shipping. A $5 USD drop-ship fee is incurred per order in addition to our standard 14.5% shipping rate

How do you handle backorders?

Our core metal line is made to order, and it ships directly from our foundry (FOB Mexico). Most metal orders ship 100%.  All other materials ship as available.

 How is the merchandise packaged?

Each metal piece is individually wrapped in a durable, custom fit gray cloth pouch imprinted with the Beatriz Ball logo that protects and adds value to the piece. Branded boxes are available for most metal items at an additional cost ranging from $1 to $5. Collections that include a branded box: Giftables, Baby, New Orleans Glass, Glass Stemware, Vida Melamine and Acrylic collection. Care cards are included for each piece to provide end user with product & care information. Sales materials and POS table tents are also included with each shipment.
